First of all, posting is good. Unless you have a private matter that cannot be posted. Such as if you wanted to discuss donations or ask a personal question, feel free to PM me. I like helping and answering people's questions when needed. But if it's a basic question ask it in the "Support Board" if its technical or "The Coffee House" for random questions, I'd rather answer it there. That way anyone who might have the same question will be able to find their answer on the board. Now here are some guidelines for determining which board to post in:
1) Always read the stickies in every board as soon as you visit it. Pay attention to the name and description of the board you're posting in as well. This will save us time and save you the embarrassment.
2) The Coffee House is only for General Talk, as in sports, movies, current events, or anything that is unrelated to the actual topic of this board, which is writing.
3) If you wanna post poetry, stories, songs, or an expression, it goes in the Writers Escape category (duh :. There are also contests in the Writers InK Competition area.
4) Have a book in mind you wanna discuss? Post it in "The Book Club"
- Want to post a video of any kind? Post it in the "W.I.N.K Telecast"
Wannna showcase your pic or graphics? Submit them in - "Member Requests", choosing submissions of course. They will then be placed into the Writers Gallery under the correct category.
5) If you like one of Writers InK's features and want it on your board and/or forum, check with me first. Please do not steal any of the ideas I've brought to this site.
6) If you're having problems with a member of the site or something general relating to the site, PM me. I will relinquish the problem as soon as I possibly can.
7) If you have a forum/site you want to advertise, go to the "Member Requests/Suggestions" portion of site, request to affiliate, fill out the application, and your site should be up within 2 or 3 days.
8) If you have a ProBoards Forum and need help with it or want to know how to use a feature of ProBoards, click the [Help] button in the menu above or visit ProBoards Support.
9) Finally, If you want to be a staff member on Writers InK feel free to apply in the "Staff Applications" section of the site in the "Staff Information" board. Once I've agreed to have you on my staff, await for my PM for further instructions.
